Shipping & Returns

FREE shipping for orders $75 and over

If your order totals $75 or more, you will receive FREE economy shipping (exclusions apply).  You are eligible to receive FREE economy shipping only if shipping to the 48 contiguous states and Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands.  Due to the extra cost to ship, an additional oversized shipping charge may be applied to some oversized and heavy items and will be noted when placing your order.

Flat Rate Shipping. We also offer an everyday low shipping option of $4.99 per order. That means that you can order 1 item, or 100 items and you will only be charged $4.99 for shipping on your order. If your order total is over $99 your order will ship for free.


Most patterns ship for $1.00. We will refund you the difference after your order is placed - we are working on updating our website to reflect which patterns are included in this category. If you would like to know ahead of time, just contact us and ask and we'll be happy to let you know!

Getting your order out as quickly as possible is one of our top priorities. Orders ship within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive an e-mail confirming your order and a second e-mail with tracking information when your order ships.

Shipping Methods

All orders currently ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) First Class or Priority Mail. To ensure that your packages are shipped in the most efficient manner, we take into account the weight, size and destination when selecting the best shipping method to use.

Expedited Shipping Methods

At this time, Premium Sewing Outlet does not offer any expedited shipping methods.  If you do require expedited shipping, please contact us and we will try our best to satisfy your shipping needs. 

Shipping Confirmation/Order Tracking

Premium Sewing Outlet will send you an email confirmation, with an order summary and tracking number the day your order is shipped. You can track the status of your order by clicking on the tracking # in your shipping confirmation email.

Oversized and Heavy Items

Due to the extra cost to ship, an additional oversized shipping charge may be applied to some oversized and heavy items.

Aerosol Restrictions

Aerosol items cannot be shipped to Puerto Rico, Guam or the Virgin Islands.

Where can I ship my order?

Premium Sewing Outlet ships anywhere USPS and FedEx services are available. This includes the 48 contiguous states in the U.S, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, P.O. Boxes and Military Bases. 

International Shipping

We offer flat rate shipping services to Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Malaysia, and United Kingdom.  All orders will ship via a USPS Flat Rate Envelope, USPS Flat Rate Medium Box or USPS Flat Rate Large Box.  If your order includes items that do not fit in the specified envelope or box additional fees may apply before your order will be processed.  If there is an option to ship your order in a more economical way we will do so and your shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly.  If you have any questions about your order and the possibility of a lower price on shipping please contact us.

Free shipping with a $75 or more order is not available for international shipping.  All international sales are final. 

If your country is not listed, please contact us for a shipping estimate to your location. 

Customs and Duties

All international orders are subject to normal import duties, foreign taxes, tariffs and customs charges. They are the customer's responsibility and are not included in our shipping charges, and will be collected at delivery. Premium Sewing Outlet has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.  In order to comply with export regulations, we are required by U.S. law to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable merchandise. Because we are a retailer, we are prohibited by law from declaring your order as a "gift", even if the order is intended to be received by a gift recipient.  We will be happy to ship to you, HOWEVER, you are responsible for any additional fees that may be assessed when you receive your order. You must pay these to get your order.  If you refuse your shipment, SHIPPING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE and International orders are non-refundable.  All international orders are final.  Please keep this in mind when ordering.  Please contact your local customs office for more information on duties and taxes.

Shipping and Handling Rates

Our goal is to deliver your order in the quickest and most economical way possible.  All orders will ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail.

We understand how important it is that your packages arrive promptly. The following chart will help you estimate how long it will take to receive your order from our Missouri location.

Business days are defined as Monday - Friday, excludes weekends and holidays.  Premium Sewing Outlet does its best to ensure your delivery times, however delivery dates are not 100% guaranteed.

Order Processing Time

We only processes orders Monday - Friday and is closed on weekends and holidays.  All orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days.

Cancelling Orders

How do I cancel my order? 

If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of your order being placed. If you contact us within the 24 hours, you will be refunded in full and your order will be cancelled. If you contact us after 24 hours of your order being placed, your order is unable to be cancelled and will still be shipped. If you do not wish to keep your order, you are still able to return your order within the 7 day timeframe listed in our Return Policy. Please note that all shipping fees are non-refundable (original and return fees).


Our goal is to have accurate and up to date inventory counts prior to placing your order so that you will receive exactly what you ordered.  Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, occasionally our inventory count is incorrect and we are unable to ship the quantity ordered.  If an item is out of stock at the time the order is fulfilled, you will be notified via email when the item is back in stock.  If you wish to cancel your backorder, you will not be charged for this item and your total order charge will be adjusted accordingly.



Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your Premium Sewing Outlet purchase, you may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Premium Sewing Outlet within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, minus any shipping costs.  We will gladly issue a full credit to your credit card for the amount of your item after we receive your package. Shipping is non-refundable.  If the item was shipped initially under a free shipping promotion, regular ground delivery costs will be deducted from the refund.  To return an item, please refer to our policy below. 

 Returning Opened Items

All returns must be in the factory sealed box with the seal unbroken.  If the seal has been broken or if items are missing from a package, a partial store credit may be issued.  In general, any opened merchandise will be issued a store credit only, minus a 20% restocking fee (minimum of $7).  If any items are missing out of the packaging, additional replacement fees will be assessed appropriately.  All returns are subject to inspection before store credit is given.

You should expect to receive your store credit within four weeks of giving the package to the return shipper.  In many cases you will receive a credit more quickly. You will receive a copy of your refund credit via email.

Returning Software/Embroidery Designs

Because of the nature of the product, manufacturers do not allow exchanges or refunds on software or embroidery designs. If the software is defective, an exchange will be made only for the same product.

Returning Clearance Items

All sales are final on clearance items and are non-returnable.

How to Return Your Order

If your return is not due to a Premium Sewing Outlet error, and you would like to receive a refund, simply follow the instructions below and on your Return Form and ship your package back to us.

  1. Complete the Return Form - including customer information, returned item information, and reason for return.
  2. Enclose the Return Form and Packing Slip in the package with your merchandise.
  3. Ship the carton via an appropriate carrier in the same type of box that it was originally shipped in.

If you believe Premium Sewing Outlet has shipped something in error, please call us at 866-792-4297 or email us.  When you contact us, please have your Return Form and Packing Slip available.  This will help our Customer Service department quickly and easily process your request.

We will send you an e-mail confirmation after we receive your return letting you know that your return has been processed.  Please return your items in the original condition that they were shipped.  We are unable to give refunds for partially used items.

All returns must be approved and be issued a return authorization number.  If an item is sent back without prior authorization, a $15 handling charge will be incurred in addition to any restocking fees and substantial delays in a credit can follow.  Requesting an authorization can be done by calling us at 866-792-4297 or emailing us.  All unauthorized returns will be issued a store credit. These credits do not expire.


After we have received and processed your return shipment, Premium Sewing Outlet will credit your credit card the purchase amount for the item(s). Cost of original and return shipping will not be refunded. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you letting you know that your credit card has been credited.  Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card billing statement.
